Then I would request a friends network feature similar to friendster.com

Not only show who is your friend like other dating scripts with this feature. But also show how you relate to people if you do so. And let you search for people within this network. (i.e. search for nice girl within 4 degrees = "You -> your_friend -> his_friend -> his_goodlooking_cousine")

Well, many dating sites today have a feature where a user is able to add another profile/user as being his friend. Then this friend/user can either accept or decline.
If the user accepts they are both listed as each other friend. So when you look at a profile you can also see a list of this profiles friends.

So let's say I have a profile and I have 2 friends on the site, Carol and Steven. So Carol and Steven would be in 1* (degree) of my network.
But Carol and Steven also have friends attached to their profile. Friends that I don't know of. Let's stick to Carol and her friends Susan and Merryl.
When I look at Susans profile I can see that she is within 2* of my network. (Me -> my friend Carol -> her friend Susan).

Then I can ask my friend Carol to set up a dinner party when her friend Susan is around Wink

Or I could just contact her friend Susan and start a conversation by referring to our mutual friend Carol.

It's a big big world with a lot of weird people out there Smile

So this makes things a little more secure and a lot more fun.

Some sites will also allow you to search within this network of profiles. So that you would be able to search for a pretty girl within 4 or 5 * of your network or just for fun browse your network of people.

This is also a very good methode to sort out the fake profiles.
