We've found that ABK software, due to improper setup can cause issues with a shared hosting service. However, we suggest everyone starts off at the shared hosting level and then move their way up to a private then dedicated service.

I have Able Date installed at a HostGator.com in a Pro dedicated server that accepts up to 10 IP's
Quad Processor 4 GB Ram 2 250 GB Hard Disks 25000 bandwidth and many features.

Otherwise when members use some services or upload videos a shae hosting will not be enough for let's say more than 1,000 members.
