I did see a bit back that it was being worked on as we speak!. It will be another great little feature!

I have made it with htaccess and it works fine.

Try this:

Put these lines in your .htaccess file

RewriteEngine On
RewriteRule ^/ index.php
RewriteRule ^/([^\.]+)$ http://www.your-side.com/search_results.php?display=profile&name=$1 [R,L]
RewriteCond /%{REQUEST_FILENAME} !-f
RewriteRule ^(.+) http://www.your-side.com/search_results.php?display=profile&name=$1 [R,L]
RewriteCond %{QUERY_STRING} http\: [OR]
RewriteCond %{QUERY_STRING} .txt?
RewriteRule ^(.*)$ - [F,L]

replace www.your-side.com with your URL.

I think these code snippet was anywhere in these forum.

did you have "mod rewrite" enabled. Maybe your hoster can do this for you.

P.S. : I put the .htaccess file in the folder where i installed abledating. Maybe thats the problem ?

Anyone knows how put in .htaccess to make SEO friendly names of Groups and his posts?

I put these lines in my .htaccess file
All working very good but i have got only one problem with preview and send postcard

If i click Send in my postcard i see /search_results.php?display=profile&name=403.shtml Razz

Can you fix it? Please ^^

Well maybe in the new update whenever that comes out, that could be a repair or at least an option in the CP for friendly seo or not.

Just a thought. I know this is the way it should be done but......?
